After becoming a commercially successful musician, Jack White moved to the affluent Indian Village neighborhood.
The home was designed by C. Howard Crane, architect of the Detroit’s Fox Theater, Orchestra Hall, and Opera House.
The White Stripes recorded their album “Get Behind Me Satan” in the foyer of this home.
White sold the house in 2006 to move to Nashville, TN.

In Jack White's neighborhood of SW Detroit. The music video's outside shooting was done in front of the hotel, but inside shooting was done elsewhere. Regarded as a home for those without a home.

A barbecue restaurant and music (mainly blues) venue, closed in December 2010. The first meeting place of Jack and Meg White. Meg White was a bartender at the restaurant at the time.
