Unlike the Applebee's in Friday Night Lights, which was an Applebee's on the show, this Dairy Queen was turned into the Alamo Freeze where Matt Saracen and later Smash both worked. It's located in Austin which was the setting for much of fictional Dillon, Texas.

octopus car wash

In addition to teaching high school chemistry, Walt's job prior to becoming a full-time meth dealer was at Albuquerque's A1A Car Wash (aka the Octopus Car Wash) in Breaking Bad's pilot episode.

Skyler and Walt buy the car wash to use as a money laundering service in season 4.

coach taylor’s house

First there was a book, then a movie, then the NBC tv show Friday Night Lights about the fictional Texas town Dillon and their high school football team the Dillon Panthers. This was coach Eric Taylor's house located in non-fictional Austin. It was for sale in 2011 but no longer, so any superfans looking to buy it are out of luck for now.

freehold high school

The Boss transferred from St. Rose of Lima School to Freehold High School when he entered the ninth grade.

Springsteen graduated in 1967, but skipped his own graduation. Old teachers described him as, "a loner, who wanted nothing more than to play his guitar."

In 2006, he was inducted into the Freehold High School Hall of Fame.

One of The Boss's favorite spots in Freehold, NJ. After his 1996 appearance at St. Rose of Lima, they had a party here. The Boss also joined a some fans for a slice here on July 31, 2004, after they had been working on a home in Freehold for Habitat for Humanity.

Danny Federici's (1950-2008, former organ/glockenspiel/accordion player for the E Street Band) family owns and operates the Italian restaurant.
