Not much to see here, but this is the exterior used for Dee's apartment in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Unlike the exterior of Paddy's Pub which is in Los Angeles, this building is actually in Philadelphia. The interior, like all the apartments, is filmed on a set.

Rob and Kaitlin McElhenney (Mac and Sweet Dee from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia who are married in real life) are part owners of the bar Mac's Tavern on Market St. in Philadelphia.
According to the Mac's Tavern website, the building was formerly Skinner’s Dry Goods Store, and in 1776 "would have been THE dry goods store for Mr. & Mrs. Benjamin Franklin, who resided right up the block… as well as Betsy Ross, 1 block away."

On April 23, 1991, Johnny Thunders (former guitarist for the New York Dolls and punk solo artist) died of mysterious circumstances in room #37 (now room #7) of the St. Peter Guest House in New Orleans, LA.
While the N.O.P.D. ruled the case an overdose, toxicology results indicated that Thunders had not consumed enough drugs to overdose. In addition, he had been recovering from addiction with methadone treatment for several months.
Dee Dee Ramone spoke to Thunders' rhythm guitarist, Stevie Klasson, after Johnny had died. Klasson stated that Thunders "had gotten mixed up with some bastards... who ripped him off for his methadone supply. They had given him LSD and then murdered him."
Thunders was 38 years old.

On February 2, 1979, a small gathering occurred at Sid Vicious' girlfriend's (Michele Robinson) house to celebrate his release from Bellevue Hospital. Vicious was in the hospital from a failed suicide attempt after his previous girlfriend died at the Chelsea Hotel.
Although Vicious had gone through detox, his mother had brought heroin to the party. Vicious overdosed around midnight, but the party guests got him up and moving around. Around 3 a.m. Vicious overdosed again and died from accumulation of fluid in his lungs (a common symptom of heroin overdose).
