The Computer History Museum is the world's largest history museum for the preservation and presentation of artifacts and stories of the Information Age located in the heart of Silicon Valley.
The museum is currently featuring a Steve Jobs retrospective (as of January 2012) and has an original Apple 1 computer that was built in 1976.
homebrew computing club

In the auditorium of the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center, the Homebrew Computing Club would meet in the mid-70s. Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak were members of this club, and when Woz developed the first Apple computer board, they would sell them at the Homebrew meetings in April of 1976, giving them the confidence to further invest into Apple Computers.
