On the eighth floor of Radio City Music Hall, there used to be (now defunct) a recording studio. This is where the Ramones recorded their first album in February of 1976. Put out by Sire Records, the Ramones self-titled debut was recorded in one week for $6,400. The producer was Craig Leon, and Tommy Ramone was listed as "associate producer."
art garden II

Joey Ramone's mother, Charlotte, ran an art gallery called the Art Garden II adjacent to the old Trylon Cinema on Queens Blvd. The art gallery served as the practice space for the Ramones in their earliest days. "Mama Ramone" (as Charlotte was later called) was something of a matriarch for the Ramones and the fledging scene in those days, and was an advocate for the Ramones until her death in 2007.

On March 18, 2002, the Ramones were inducted into the Rock and Roll of Fame. The ceremony was held at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York, and a newly-mohawked Eddie Vedder (with leather jacket and Ramones t-shirt) introduced Johnny, Dee Dee, Tommy, and Marky. Joey had died the year earlier.
ramones museum berlin

This is the location of the Ramones Museum Berlin. It is well established that Joey Ramone had a love for Germany, and apparently they have reciprocated.
From their website: "RAMONES MUSEUM founder Flo Hayler started his collection of RAMONES memorabilia 18 years ago, launching his insanity with the ticket stub, poster and shirt from his first ever RAMONES concert in 1990."
The space features memorabilia, a cafe (Cafe Mania), and a venue for performances.
