Lee Harvey Oswald and his wife, Marina, were renting the upstairs apartment of this duplex at the time of the Kennedy assassination.
In the backyard, Marina took a picture of Lee Harvey with a rifle that was widely circulated after the event. Conspiracy theorists note that the shadow on Oswald's face appears to be at noon, while the remaining shadows appear to be in the afternoon.
Oswald was separated from Marina at the time of the JFK assassination and was living at 1026 North Beckley Avenue.
